Books by famous Russian writers Viktor Pelevin and Dina Rubina reached the final of the Big Book Award, which this year will be awarded for the tenth time.
Pelevin's love for three tsukerbrines, while Rubin was noted for the Russian Canary trilogy, was shortlisted for the award. In addition to them, the works of Roman Senchin, Anna Matveyeva, Alexey Varlamov, Igor Virabov, Boris Ekimov, Valery Zolotukha and Guzeli Yakhina hit the finals of the “Big Book”.
Now the works of the finalists will be evaluated by the Literary Academy, which includes over a hundred critics, journalists, scholars and cultural figures. As a result, three laureates will be selected.
