Nizhny Novgorod police will now drive Ford Focus and Toyota Camry cars.
The issue has already been resolved and the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Valery Shantsev, will personally take part in the delivery of brand new cars at 10 am on June 20. This event will take place within the framework of the regional target program "Prevention of offenses and other offenses in the Nizhny Novgorod region". In total, 29 cars will be placed at the disposal of the internal organs of the region, 15 of them will be sent to territorial divisions for precinct police officers, and 10 Ford Focus and 3 Toyota Camry will be handed over to a special vehicle of traffic police. Moreover, the Nizhny Novgorod police will be given such an important and rather rare car as a horse-drawn cart for the needs of a cavalry platoon. Well, in order to more fully equip the fleet, as part of federal funding, another 50 Lada Granta cars will go to the traffic police regiment.
I suppose that the joy of the Nizhny Novgorod policemen can only be hindered by the fact that the specified number of cars is not enough for the entire personnel.
