Childhood of Olga ZaitsevaOlya was born in Moscow in the family of a kindergarten teacher and a pilot of civil aviation. Her sisters were seriously engaged in skiing, it is quite natural that she, going to the third grade, went to this sport. Her coach was Svetlana Nesterova.
It should be noted that at that time Olina's elder sisters achieved some results in ski racing. Both of them studied in sports classes and were engaged in a sports school. The youngest little sister was on whom to look like. In the fourth grade, she, like the sisters, continued her studies in the sports class.

All this time, she persistently engaged in biathlon, learning its basics, including continuing shooting lessons with Izotov. In addition to biathlon, the girl did not leave classes in cross-country skiing, continuing to participate in competitions. It was a difficult and stressful period in her life. Combining two kinds of sports and learning at such a young age was not easy.
Making progress in biathlon, Olga began traveling to the competition with Izotov and Chukedova. In 1994, she became a master of sports in biathlon.

After receiving a diploma of secondary education, in 1996 Zaitseva entered the Academy of Physical Culture.
The beginning of a career Olga ZaitsevaOlga, being a purposeful person, trained very hard. Efforts were not in vain, she was soon noticed and included in the junior national team of the country. In Kontiolahti at the junior championship Zaitseva took silver, and a year later in Italy managed to become a champion in the team race.
1999 is the year of Olga Zaitseva's transition to the adult team. This year she not only studied and played sports, but also worked as a police officer of OBPPSM. So began her work.
In 2000, instead of Suslova, Zaitseva began to train her sister - Oksana Rocheva. After transferring to work in the tax service, Olga in competition began to play for the CA "Dynamo". In the same year she received the title of master of sports of international class.
In 2001, Zaitseva held the first start at the international level: the silver award of the European Championship. Speaking in Poland at the World Universiade, she collected all the awards. And her successful debut in the World Cup opened the way to the 2002 Olympics.

Relatives of the spouse, reviewing old photos, found pictures, of which it becomes obvious that Olga and Milan met at competitions in the nineties, although none of them could remember this. Olya's career was wonderful, and after only six years she had already played in the national team, becoming the world champion. Milan was not so successful in the sport. In the late nineties, he left the biathlon, injuring his back.

Two seasons, from 2006 to 2008, Zaitseva missed, because she was waiting for the birth of a child. Olga had a son, Alexander.
Unfortunately, the marriage today terminated. This happened in July 2013. Olga does not want to discuss this step in detail, but she says that the decision was not easy for her.
In those years when Zaitseva only became a mother, she continued to train according to an individual program, trying to keep fit. During this period, Olga was greatly supported by her mother, who took care of her grandson while her daughter was in training. Thanks to his strength of will and hard training, as early as 2008, Zaitseva returned to work, approaching the World Championships in her best form. All subsequent seasons were no less successful.
In recent years, accurate shooting is an obvious trump card in the Zaitsev arm. She was among the most stable biathlon shooters.
