Actor Vladimir Mashkov, who became the new artistic director of the Moscow Tabakov School of Drama, decided this year not to accept students.
The decision of the new head of the school immediately caused a stir, because they began to select students in November last year. Vladimir Mashkov, who came to the place of Oleg Tabakov after his death, explained that Tabakov traditionally made the final decision on the admission of students. Death did not allow the famous actor and director this year to choose the best applicants, and Vladimir Mashkov, who did not see the guys, does not consider himself entitled to make this verdict.
The editors of uznayvse.ru want to add that the widow of Oleg Tabakov defended Mashkov. She noted that Tabakov himself repeatedly expressed the idea that the admission to college was not annual.
